Goals & awards

TimerOS keeps people pointed at outcomes — not just hours. Depending on your plan, that shows up as personal achievements for solo users or as company goals, recognition, and awards for teams.

Which surface you see depends on your tier. On Freelancer, the desktop and web apps show an Achievements page — a gamified personal system with ranks and badges you unlock as you work. On Startup and above, you also get Goals (company- and team-level goals) plus an Awards page for recognising teammates.

Goals (Startup and Enterprise)

Company goals let you set objectives and track progress against team performance metrics. The Goals page sits in the dashboard on both the desktop and web apps, and company-wide goals tie into the same per-state time data that powers reporting.

  • The Goals nav item appears for anyone with the goals permission; the company- and team-level (Organization) goals it contains are unlocked by the company-goals feature on Startup and up.
  • Team performance — productivity and related metrics — lives on the Team and Department views for roles that can view performance data; the Performance page itself is your personal reporting view.

Awards & recognition

The Awards page (Startup+) is a read-only collection and leaderboard. Awards are earned automatically when goals are completed — a manually-tracked goal grants a self-reported award, while an auto-tracked goal grants reward points and a premium award. The page shows your award history, a how-it-works guide, and the option to share or download a certificate.

Achievements (Freelancer)

Solo users get a personal Achievements page instead — ranks and badges earned from your own tracked time, with no team setup required.

Tiers
Company- and team-level goals, Awards, and team performance are Startup+ capabilities. Freelancer keeps personal goals on the Goals page and shows the personal Achievements page. See pricing for what each plan includes.

To get goals working, first make sure your workspace and team are set up, since goals and awards build on your people and their tracked time.
