Reports & exports

TimerOS breaks your tracked time down by state, so you can compare periods and export the results. What you see depends on your access level and your workspace’s plan.

Every report is calculated on the server from the same data: the hour-by-hour record your timer saves each day. So the numbers in your charts match what was tracked, to the minute. There is no separate summary that could fall out of sync.

Performance page

The Performance page, in the desktop app and in the web app at app.timeros.ai, shows your personal reports. It has a productivity ring and percentage, daily and hourly bar charts, lists by category, and a day / week / month / year period selector. Productivity is (productive + overtime) ÷ total time, capped at 100%.

  • The breakdown covers the tracked states: productive, idle, break and overtime. Off-work time is not part of it. See Time states for what each one means.
  • The “worked time” card on your dashboard adds up only productive time and overtime.
Streak card
The Performance page has a “Productive Streak” card, but for now it always reads zero: it is a placeholder until the metric is built.

Available exports

On the Performance page, in either app, you can export your breakdown as a CSV or PDF file with the Export Performance Data dialog. Managers can also export CSV or PDF from the Team and Department pages (Startup and up), and on Enterprise (early access) from the Departments, Performance and Org Chart tabs of the Organization page.

Branded emails: your workspace logo and accent color appear on the emails that tell clients about your invoices. Invoice and payslip PDFs stay plain (company name and details, no logo or accent color), and the app’s charts and screens don’t carry your branding either. You set the logo and accent color in your workspace settings.

Not yet available
On the website dashboard, the “Import CSV” button on the Users page doesn’t work yet, so there is no CSV import, and the audit log is planned but not built. The “Export CSV” button on the Billing page does work and downloads your full invoice history; the Overview page no longer has an export button. Follow the roadmap for what’s still to come.

Team & org views

Reports for managers depend on your plan. The Team and Department pages require Startup or higher; the full Org Chart is part of Enterprise (early access). The Performance page shows only your own data. The server limits team and department totals to what your access level allows. The Overview page on the website dashboard also has a live “Workspace activity” chart: stacked bars of productive, idle and break time per day for the current month.
