Reports & exports

TimerOS turns your tracked time into per-state breakdowns you can read at a glance, compare across periods, and export. Reporting is role-aware: what you see depends on your access level and your workspace’s plan.

Every report is computed server-side from the same source of truth — the daily hours-of-day map your timer writes. That means the numbers on your charts match what was tracked, down to whole-minute boundaries, with no separate roll-up to drift out of sync.

Performance page

The Performance page — in the desktop app and in the web app at app.timeros.ai — is your personal reporting view. It shows a productivity ring and percentage, daily and hourly bar charts, per-category lists, and a day / week / month / year period selector. Productivity is calculated as productive plus overtime, divided by total, capped at 100%.

  • The breakdown is split across the tracked states — productive, idle, break, and overtime. Off-work is dropped entirely and never appears in the breakdown. See Time states for what each one means.
  • Your dashboard “worked time” card sums productive plus overtime only.
Streak card
The Performance page renders a “streak” summary, but it is currently hardcoded to zero — it is not a working metric yet. Treat it as a placeholder, not a tracked stat.

Exports that exist

From the Performance page you can export your breakdown through the Export performance dialog, which produces a CSV or PDF. The same dialog is available in the web app at app.timeros.ai. Managers also get working CSV / PDF exports from the Team and Department pages (Startup and up), and — on Enterprise (early access) — from the Organization page’s Departments, Performance, and Org chart tabs.

Branded emails: your workspace logo and accent color brand the emails that deliver your invoices; the invoice and payslip PDFs themselves are plain documents (company name and details, no logo or accent), as are in-app charts and the product UI. Set these under your workspace settings.

Not yet available
On the website dashboard, the Users page’s “Import CSV” button is a non-functional placeholder today — there is no CSV import. The Billing page’s “Export CSV” button works and downloads your full invoice history, and the Overview page no longer shows an export button. The website audit log is also a planned placeholder. Follow the roadmap for these.

Team & org views

Manager-level reporting scales with your plan. Team and Department views require the Startup plan or higher; the full Org chart is part of Enterprise (early access). The personal Performance page is scoped to your own data, and team and department aggregates are scoped server-side by your access level. The website Overview adds a live stacked-bar “Workspace activity” chart of productive / idle / break per day for the current month.
