Payroll
Payroll turns tracked work time into salaries, deductions, and payslips — calculated per pay period and broken down by company, department, team, and the individual. It is an Enterprise capability, and it is currently in early access.
When Payroll is enabled, the desktop and web apps add a /payroll route with a tabbed view — Company, Departments, Teams, My Payroll, and Payslips — plus a period selector and export. Each pay run computes gross and net for the period, applying the salary and deduction setup behind it.
Where the numbers come from
Payroll hours are derived from each employee’s assigned shifts and approved leave, not from the per-second activity tracker. Overtime and night premiums come from the shift start and end times, applied against your country-specific labor-law pay rates. That shift-and-leave record is what feeds the salary and pay-period calculations.
- Gross and net are calculated per pay period when you create a payroll run.
- Deduction components follow country-specific schemes so taxes and contributions match your jurisdiction.
- Payslips are generated per employee and can be exported.
Access
Payroll views are role-gated: only roles granted the payroll permission can open the page, so financial detail stays restricted. The payslip PDF you download from the desktop or web app is plain — your workspace logo and accent colour are not applied to it.
