Download TimerOS for Windows
The desktop app is the only place TimerOS tracks work time. It runs an always-on-top timer bar plus an on-demand dashboard window, records your hours automatically, and is free with every plan. Windows 10 and 11 today — macOS is planned.
The installer needs a workspace to sign in to — Start free trial or compare plans.
What the desktop app does
An always-on-top timer bar
A compact bar docked at the top of your screen showing your activity state, elapsed time, and Break / Dashboard / Collapse / Logout. Collapse it to a pill when you want the space back.
Tracking that starts by itself
Sign in and the login window becomes the timer bar — there is nothing to press. Activity classification runs on your device: no cloud AI, no model download, and no raw window titles leave your machine.
Offline-tolerant, self-updating
Time keeps being recorded while you are offline and syncs when you reconnect. When a new version ships the app tells you and updates in one click — you never re-download the installer.
System requirements
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
- Microsoft Edge WebView2 — already present on current Windows builds; the installer fetches it if your machine is missing it
- A TimerOS workspace and a sign-in (plus a 6-digit code if your workspace requires two-factor authentication)
Installing takes four steps
- 1Create or join a workspace.
- 2Run the installer you downloaded above.
- 3Launch the app and sign in.
- 4The login window becomes the timer bar and tracking starts.
Other ways to use TimerOS
Use it in your browser
The web app at app.timeros.ai gives you the same dashboard as the desktop client — projects, tasks, shifts, reports, clients and settings — with nothing to install. It never tracks time: hours come from the desktop timer.
macOS is planned
The desktop client ships for Windows today. A macOS build is on the roadmap; until it lands, Mac users can run everything except time tracking in the web app.
No workspace yet?
Registration takes a couple of minutes and gets you a workspace, a sign-in, and the desktop app — which is included on every plan.
